What can we expect from your show?
"The best selection of amazing new bands and classic tunes on the planet, plus gig guides, live sessions, and ticket giveaways. What more do you need?"

What kind of music will you be playing?
"Everything. From Husker Du and My Bloody Valentine to Crystal Castles and M.I.A"

What else have you got lined up?
"Well,we'll be discovering the best new bands in the world in Radar with Alex Miller on Mondays, there'll be the NME Music Forum on Wednesdays where we discuss the week's biggest releases with two top studio guests. On top of all that, my show will be the one to feature all of the live sessions and interviews, so we'll have some of the biggest bands around drop by the NME studios for a chat, and to play us some exclusive live session tracks! I'm going to be a very busy boy."

Who would be your dream band for a live session past or present?[/B
“It would have to be either The Clash (at about the time they recorded ‘Complete Control’) or The Velvet Underground.”

[B]What about a fantasy band?

“How can anyone answering this question NOT get Hendrix on guitar? So, Jimi on guitar, John Bonham on drums, Jah Wobble on bass and me on vocals. What's the point of a fantasy if I can't get involved? Obviously, my performance might well be shockingly bad, but it'd be fun to see how I'd do. I suspect my band mates might not be too impressed.”

How can budding bands get on the show?
“Well, be great, for starters. Send me a CD, email me an mp3, whatever, to show me how great you are. Beyond that, there's nothing else to say. It's not about bribery, secret handshakes or anything else. Impress me and you have a chance. Isn't that how it should be?”

Is video killing the radio star?
“Hmmm, I'd have to say it may have been like that once, but now it's going the other way. Internet radio, that's the future. Paying 100k for a glamorous video and trying to get it on the telly seems like a throwback to the past. So, I'm now killing the video star! Ha!”
